ABOUT US AND WHAT WE DO
THE SCOTTISH CINEMATOGRAPH TRADE BENEVOLENT FUND
Established in 1917,the SCTBF is a charitable organisation. It is listed as a Friendly Society under the Registered Charities Act.
Our aim is to provide practical assistance and financial support in cases of hardship to people who have worked or who are currently employed in the Scottish cinema industry, subject to qualifying status.
Our service extends from the Border towns to the extreme North of Scotland and all applications are handled confidentially.
Office bearers and council members operate on a voluntary basis, with the exception of a Welfare Visitor who is salaried.
